Collard greens are a leafy vegetable similar to spinach and kale. They’re eaten all year long in the South and are often served with ham and onions. Collard greens are served with corn bread and black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day for good luck. Ingredients 1 bunch collard greens, rinsed, trimmed, and chopped 2 smoked ham hocks 2 (10.5-ounce) cans condensed chicken broth 21 fluid ounces water 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar Salt and pepper to taste Directions
